Welcome to the first Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in December! This week’s challenge is Make Your Own Background (emboss, mist, paint, stamp, stencil, etc. – no patterned papers allowed) and the design team is featuring Gelli Plates and Stencils. You don’t need to use Gelli Plates or Stencils but we’d love to see them if you have them!

I used the Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil and embossing paste on top of a tranquil background that I sponged using distress inks. I masked the dog into the pillow, both from Pillow Talk, coloured them with Copic markers (25% off ’til the end of the year), fussy cut it as a single image and popped it on to a glittery hill which I die cut using the Curved Edge Die. I cut apart one of the sentiments from Big Holiday Wishes (also in the December 2013 Card Kit) and stamped it around the dog and hill.

One winner will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift voucher to the awesome Simon Says Stamp Store!

It could be you!

I hope you will play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday. 🙂
