Today, I have another older card to share with you! This was also a publication reject but it makes me smile every time I look at it. It reminds me of good friends and good times. It was inspired by the following photo advertising Caesarstone quartz countertops:
It’s the first photo in this Caesarstone gallery. I was inspired by the edge of the countertop, which I die cut with square dies, dry embossed and sponged to give it authenticity. Instead of a plain wood inlay, I decided to create a zig zag pattern using two colours of orange cardstock.
The sentiment is from Paper Smooches’ Helping Hands stamp set. The frothy beer mug dies are retired but I’ve linked to some other drink die cuts, below, that I think would work fabulously in their place. 🙂
