Every year on my birthday, I do a little giveaway. It’s just one of those things that I do. 😉 I do it in appreciation for the support and inspiration you all provide me throughout the year, for the comments you leave, for the emails, and for stopping by to lurk in silence. Haha. I know that I’m guilty of doing the latter much more than I should! I know you are there though and occasional giveaways are my way of saying thanks.

In today’s post, I’m sharing a couple of Technique Tuesday publications. This first card appears in Paper Crafts magazine’s July/August 2013 issue. You can find both the paper and digital links below. The sentiment is from the Awesome stamp set which I modified and stamped a portion of it twice to create a coloured shadow. To create the sandal pattern, I traced a pair of J.Crew sandals, scanned them, resized and printed them. Then I cut them out, stitched along the edge for authenticity and braided the straps with baker’s twine from The Twinery. The patterned papers are from Kaisercraft’s Pickled Pear paper pad.

This second card appears in Paper Crafts magazine’s Holiday Cards & More, Volume 8. You can find both the paper and digital links below. I used the Magic of Christmas stamp set which is extremely versatile and easy to use. This card literally took five minutes to make, plus it’s easy to mass-produce and mail!

I made this holiday card a while back using the Be Jolly stamp set and hadn’t shared it. This set is so much fun! I stamped the tree and sentiment on the white panel, stamped a bunch of circles in all colours on a separate piece of cardstock and punched them out. Then I adhered them to the tree with glue dots.

Giveaway

To celebrate these publications, the generosity of Technique Tuesday’s publication incentive program and my birthday, I’m giving away Awesome and Bright Idea. You have until Saturday, September 28th at 11:59 p.m. EST to leave a comment on this post. You must be a follower of this blog. I will choose a winner via Random.org to receive both the Awesome and Bright Idea stamp sets by Technique Tuesday and announce the lucky winner here on Sunday, September 29th.

Thanks so much for the birthday wishes! 🙂
