My husband was away at the Interbike Show in Las Vegas this past week and just got back today. The day before he left, my son asked his dad to make him something so he wouldn’t miss him too much. My husband came up with this. Isn’t it the cutest? Hubby immediately knew that he would have to use “Hamsy” from Paper Smooches’ Party Posse stamp set because that’s our little man’s favourite image of all time. The little sparkly heart using the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Shapes die was my idea. My son loves sparkly things and enjoys making me jewellery at school. πŸ˜‰

This is the card I made for hubby while he was working away on his card. The heart, squirrel and tree trunk are from Mama Elephant’s Tree Friends stamp set and the sentiment is from Mint Motif’s Simply Sentiments stamp set. I masked the squirrel into the tree trunk. The ‘grass’ is from Crate Paper’s Fourteen paper pad.

Thanks for stopping by today! It’s my birthday weekend so we’ll be celebrating tomorrow and I’ll have a giveaway here on Monday so please stop by again then. πŸ™‚
