This is my first entry for Paper Crafts magazine‘s 2013 Gallery Idol Open Auditions. The theme is birthday cards for kids and teens. I do have a bunch of kid birthday cards to make but I thought I’d tackle the hardest one first. I love this sentiment from Mama Elephant’s Good Times stamp set. The hand making the love sign was too small for this particular design so I used the one from My Favorite Things’ Rock On stamp set. I rolled the flames in three different inks and added them to the extended fingers. Then I die cut some Simon Says Stamp exclusive stars from blue glitter cardstock and adhered them to the card.

Have you entered? I hope you do! πŸ™‚
