Welcome to {Day 1} of the Lil’ Inker Designs January Release Blog Hop! You should’ve arrived from  Debby Hughes‘ blog. If not, you’ll want to start at Laura Pryor’s blog for all the details. Both the core team and the colour team are providing inspiration using products from this month’s release.

For my first card, I created a breezy scene using the new stamps. Pairing them up with the previously released Balloon Dies and Rainbows & Clouds Die Set was super easy! I’m in love with the patterns on these stamps. They are so fun to mix and match and work perfectly in all colours. I’ll be using these a lot to make my birthday cards this year! They really are a must-have.

On my second card, I took the Balloon Builders Stamp Set to another level by stamping an entire background on one of the Stitched Mats: Rectangles. It was so fun to create and I made sure to incorporate every single balloon stamp in this set.

I wanted to feature the Balloon String Die in an entirely different way so I just hung them off the edge of the mat and balanced the design with the two banners on which I split one of the sentiments. The top flag is the Original Sentiment Flag Die and the bottom one is the Stitched Sentiment Flag Die.

If you’d like to purchase any of the release products now, just click on the graphics below. 🙂

Here are the blogs you’ll want to visit today for a chance to win one of two $10 store credits. The prizes are hidden on the design team blogs so the more you comment this week, the better your chances of winning!

Please head on over to Isha Gupta‘s blog where she has an incredible card featuring Snarky Lady 1! Thank you so much for hopping with us during this month’s fabulous release. I hope to see you back here tomorrow!

  1. I had to go check out Snarky Lady, because, well, I am one 😉 lol!
I really love the scene you created with the first card – and the second card is pure genius!

  2. Oh these are both such fantastic creations!! I love the one with the balloons over the water but I really love the one with the balloon strings way up high. It really really works!!!!

  3. Both cards are, awesome!! Love them both! And let me be honest, normally I'm not one for balloons. I'm not sure why?…Though, you sure have me rethinking my thoughts, about balloons!! 🙂

  4. Cannot decide which card I like more. 🙂 The first one is an instant classic, and the second one is so cool, with the multi-balloon background and the strings turned into adornments. So nice!
