I framed the cute pup and her sky-high pile of bones inside an instant camera die from Lil’ Inker Designs. The pretty purple cardstock is from the Ed Collection available at the Paper Smooches Store. The patterned papers are from Crate Paper’s On Trend paper pad and the numbered washi tape is from Cavallini & Co.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas with your families! Last night, we were in the emergency room for three hours because my son had an ear infection and he was in so much pain. He was crying and screaming the entire time. After the nurse gave him some Tylenol, he fell asleep. If it’s not bedtime and he’s not in his bed, he would never sleep. That proves how bad he was feeling. There were so many sick kids at the hospital. I feel so bad for all of them and their parents for having to be there on Christmas Eve as we were. It was exhausting. Lucky for us, we had a great morning opening presents and relaxing. I am hoping we can all make a full recovery between now and New Year’s since we’ve all been sick this past week. Here’s to a healthy holiday vacation!

Hey Emily, hope your son is feeling better now. I can relate to what happened in the emergency room. I had the same thing happen to my family so many times. The thing that bugs me is the waiting time! Waiting for 3 to 4 hours only to find that your child is not that sick as you thought he was!
But on the other hand, I'm glad its only an ear infection. Love your cute card and hope you & your family are on the road to recovery.

Can't think of much worse than the ER on Christmas Eve, except I suppose Christmas Day. Hope D. (and his parents!) are feeling much better now. Sounds like you were able to enjoy Christmas morning at the very least, and have some downtime now to fully recover. Hugs to all! Merry Christmas!

*knocking on my desk* knock on wood thank goodness my kids never had ear infections but I have heard horror stories. Sooo sorry.
