Lawn Fawn is having a fun CHA Challenge so I thought I would play along with Sunny Skies. To create the backdrop for this card, I cut out a piece of white felt, a slightly smaller piece of vellum and stitched it on top of the felt. Then I die cut the rainbow and misted each part individually, sparingly at one end and a higher concentration of ink towards the other end. I stamped and trim the clouds from sticky-back canvas. The sun was stamped in two colours using the rock and roll technique. The rainbow was adhered directly to the vellum and the other pieces were popped using foam tape.

A big thank you to all who commented on my last post. You really warmed my heart with your caring thoughts and well wishes! I am doing much better emotionally and my son is showing great improvement as well. I appreciate all of you more than you’ll ever know!! ♥

  1. You will win whatever this contest is because this is the most amazing card I've seen all year. STUNNING. I'm gonna be shocked if you don't win.

  2. Brilliant card, Em! You've taken what appear, on their own, to be quite simple elements and combined them perfectly. Love all the different textures, too.
