This month’s club kits from Spellbinders are so beautiful and easy to use! These two cards pair the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month – Butterfly Burst with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month – Tiled Motif. I’ve been a bit obsessed with these four colours lately so I decided to make two monochromatic cards. While the Butterfly Burst stamp and die set includes four different sentiments, I decided to use the same sentiment for both to build my birthday stash.
Next, I stamped the floral ornament with Spearmint ink and used the filler stamps to stamp the flowers with Mint Julep ink. After die cutting both the stamped image and glueing its mirror gold shadow to the back, I attached it to the embossed panel with foam squares. The birthday sentiment was stamped with Sugar Cube ink and heat set it with white embossing powder on Spearmint cardstock. To finish, I added Oyster Pearl Dots to the centres of all the flowers.
