Yesterday, my best friend’s son turned five and he’s very much into pirates. I made this pirate ship birthday card for him using my Cameo, a pirate ship cut file and several Hero Arts stamps. I used four of the five November Contest colours. To start, I sponged the edges of the card base. The body of the ship was printed on blue patterned paper and stamped with the Designer Woodgrain background to mimic the real wood planks on a pirate ship. The top sail was stamped with the Envelope Pattern and the lower sails were stamped with one of the Garden Frames. The sentiment is from Heyday Sentiments which I slightly modified. I added a wood veneer star and some black enamel accents to finish.

I hope you’re all doing well! I’m battling a bad cold and looking forward to a quiet, relaxing day. πŸ™‚
