Happy New Year!!! This card didn’t turned out exactly like I dreamt it in my head but I wanted to make a special card for today. The sentiment is from Take Your Time and Advent was on my wish list for an entire year! I’m happy to finally have it so I had to ink it up. I’ve never been one to make New Year’s Resolutions but I know I need to get more sleep. LOL I prefer to reflect on the past year, to remember as much as possible in detail, and I’m extremely grateful for so many wonderful things both in my personal life and also here in crafty land. In 2011, I started getting published in June and then went through a lot of design team changes. I am thrilled to be where I am today. I am very thankful for all of you because it was your support through amazing opportunities, encouraging comments, private emails and mailed packages that buoyed me and helped me soar! I do hope that I have done even a bit of that for you, too. I wish you all happiness, love, success and, most importantly, good health for 2012 and beyond!

Stay tuned, it is going to be a busy, busy month here on the blog. 😉

  2. This card is fabulous, Emily – it should hang up somewhere that you can see it & be reminded of all the wonderful things 2012 is going to hold for you 🙂

  3. Awesome card! Although the whole "new year, new you" is a little scary, too. 😀 And the old you is just fine. 😉 Happy New Year again!

  6. In my head I already commented on this card…but I guess not in reality! I think it's fabulous — I'm such a sucker for typography-based designs, and this is a great example of why! The colors make me happy, too.

    Happy New Year (again!).
