Hello! It’s my day to post on The Twinery Blog so you’ll see these same projects there with a bit of a variation in the narrative. Not to worry, there are more details here on my personal blog! 🙂 I used all Unity stamps on these projects since I’m also posting on a Friday for Unity’s Friends With Flair blog hop!

Some of you may know that I love to shop but I’m a very careful shopper. I sometimes plan months ahead of time and budget for my purchases. It sounds crazy, I know, but I’m a minimalist in life and I don’t like clutter or too much happening at once. I like everything in moderation and I want to be sure that I appreciate and actually make good use of what I have. My minimalist approach to life is also probably why my favourite paper crafting style is clean and simple.

As a published makeup and hair artist, I’m highly influenced by fashion and that’s where I draw a lot of my inspiration from. Now I would like to show you how a little bit of beautiful twine from The Twinery can be very fashionable for your Unity projects! Let’s start with some cute tags which double as gifts.

One of my favourite ways of accessorizing is with scarves. I love wearing scarves looped like this, especially in the spring and fall seasons. Don’t these ladies look fabulous in their twine scarves? I can’t help but laugh when I look at them, plus I can’t stop feeling their soft scarves. LOL

These tags were made with an image from Melody Ross’ One of a Kind and the tag and sentiment are from Jillibean Soup’s Dutch Mustard Soup.

How ’bout a fun belt in one of the prettiest shades of twine? I just love the honeydew twine, especially paired with gorgeous crochet trim! I could make a whole set with this dress in different colours and twine belts to match. Wouldn’t this be pretty for a girlfriend who loves fashion and shopping?

This card features the dress form and one of many great sentiments from Undeniably You.

Us travellers have to decorate our luggage in the cutest and most visible way possible! Luggage tags tied with twine would make it easy to spot what’s yours on the airport carousel! This would also make a great gift set in assorted colours for a friend who lives far away.

I used the charcoal twine to secure the tag on this suitcase. The suitcase is from Cosmo Cricket’s Joy Ride Icons, the tag and tag sentiment are from Dutch Mustard Soup, and the ‘i miss you’ sentiment is from Favorite Things/Rockin’ It Unity Style.

Even snowmen need their accessories. This one already has a hat so I added a twine scarf in lilac and cappuccino!

The snowman and sentiment are from Believe in Fairytales which is still on sale for an incredible $18.50 at Eclectic Paperie! This is my favourite Unity Store Kit ever. The snowman and sentiment are also available as an itty bitty called Snowbody Warms My Heart! The flowers, which I thought would make excellent snowflakes, are from Dutch Mustard Soup.

I treasure my handbags and want to keep them clean so I almost never put them on the floor. I prefer to hang them on the back of a chair at meetings and parties. Plus this way, everyone can admire that bag! ;Þ This sweet little bag features a braided twine handle in pink sorbet. The chair image is from When I Am With You, the bag is from Take Time To Laugh and the sentiment is from To the Moon & Back.

I hope I’ve inspired you with my projects today! What was that? Who are the tags for? Why, three of you lovely readers, that’s who! The cute tags at the top of this post are part of my second blogversary giveaways. All who comment this month will be entered into the drawing. Each tag has four colours of twine from The Twinery and there’s three feet of twine in each scarf. This giveaway is sponsored by me from my own personal stash of twine and is not sponsored by The Twinery. Good luck to everyone! 🙂
