Welcome to the March 18th edition of Friends With Flair! You will find the full list of participants on the Unity Blog later this morning and, if you find the FWF blinkie along the way, be sure to leave a comment for a chance to win 25 random Unity stamps.

I was super excited to ink up a new Suzi Blu called Party Love. I’ve wanted to use this crown and sentiment from Believe in Fairytales for the longest time so I decided to combine them all! The crown fits so nicely on her head, doesn’t it? In making this card, I did two new things. I used my new Cutter Bee scissors and did a lot of paper piecing, probably the most I’ve ever done. Even her blue plaid eyeshadow is paper pieced! I just couldn’t get over how smooth and easy it was to use good scissors. LOL Much like my new corner chomper, which I blogged about yesterday, I can’t believe I didn’t buy these sooner! I must be insane. 😉 Since the image was so big, I had to make this card 3.75″ x 7.5″. I’m entering it in Unity’s March Challenge: Fashion Forward. Will you be playing?

You only have two more weeks to get the March 2011 Kit of the Month – Just You at $26 plus shipping! On April 1st, it will cost you a whopping $45! There are some great deals going on right now at the Unity Store and, if you are a Kit Club member, you can use your discount code to get an additional 25% off sale items each month that you receive the Kit! {Note: Believe in Fairytales is currently on sale for only $18.50 at Eclectic Paperie!!!}

Thanks so much for hopping by today! My blog will likely be quiet over the weekend as I prepare for Take Two next week with Ippity design team member Lisa Arana! I am also the Growing In Unity Gal next week so I will have Ippity and/or Unity posts for you all week long! I hope you will stop by my blog, as well as Lisa’s, beginning on Monday to see how we both use the same Unity and Ippity stamps! Does that sound like a lot of fun? We’re so excited!! Plus, there might be a giveaway or two, or three, so don’t be shy. We’d love to see you! 😀
