I love to turn non-Christmasy stamps into holiday cards. Can you tell?! 😉 Even cute little mermaids can get into the holiday spirit! This cutie from the set Can I Keep Him?!! was extremely fun and easy to colour. Last month on my way home from the dentist, I stopped at Fabricland and bought $40 worth of felt. I figured it was time to cut into it, just a little. LOL I made the Santa’s hat out of glittery red and classic white felt.
I also used a much-neglected Martha Stewart stamp and punch snowflake set to create the background of seaflakes (or snowflake coral reef). Obviously I didn’t use the punch part but that didn’t stop me from using the stamps! I thought the sentiment was perfect for this card. The innocence and wonder of children at this time of year just makes my heart sing.
