I’m thrilled to be part of the Spellbinders July 2021 Clubs Inspiration Blog Hop! You should’ve arrived from Jenny Colacicco‘s blog and I have the full list of participants below. There are also details on the generous giveaway so be sure to read ’til the end. For this hop, I’ve used the Clear Stamp of the Month and this is my favourite Clear Stamp of the Month so far!

It had been far too long since I heat embossed an image with clear embossing powder on watercolour cardstock. These blooms look amazing and so realistic watercolored with distress inks. I only used three colours for the flowers and you can find those in the supply links below.

After the watercolouring was done, I used the same two colours I used on the leaves to add ink blending around the edges of the panel to give it warmth and a glow. When that was done, I used shimmer spritz, white mist and dark splatter on the outer corners.

To finish, I adhered the watercolour panel to a white linen card base using Bearly Arts liquid glue and embellished the card with a few white glitter enamel dots.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card using the Clear Stamp of the Month! You have until July 24, 2021 to subscribe for these particular kits. Don’t forget to check out the Take an Extra $25 Off Your $100 Purchase Promotion going on now!

  1. What eye-catching colors; bright and cheery! Watercolors you used make a wonderful combination and your talent certainly is shown off in this card!

  2. The orange and green on white work strikingly well. I’ll have to try my hand at something similar. Thank you for sharing.
