Welcome to the 2nd Annual Canada Day Video Hop! I’m thrilled to be hosting this event for the second year and I’m so grateful for the enthusiasm of our generous sponsors. I’m so excited to be creating with these stunning products from Pigment Craft Co. As I mentioned in my video, this new Canadian company launched in March 2021 and I’d been coveting literally everything they’ve released! I decided to make two cards using the same products and colours to show how you can get two completely different looks.
First, I die cut the sentiment from black cardstock, then heat embossed best ever in white. I layered day using WOW Calypso embossing glitter but it was too sheer on its own so I added a second layer of white on top and added two more layers of Calypso on top. It’s so sparkly and beautiful! The rest of the sentiment was stamped with black pigment ink on vellum and clear embossed.
This time, I used the best friend ever sentiment from the Stacked Sentiments: Best Ever stamp set and Stacked Sentiments: Best Ever coordinating dies. I love word dies and this set offers the perfect combination of multi-coloured stamping and die cutting. I stamped these words using Coral Cabana, Daydream and Bellini.
