I’m popping in to share the adorable Christmas card Damian made for us! I wasn’t surprised when he pulled three Lawn Fawn sets to make his card. He started playing trumpet this year at school and since he’s also been a percussionist for 18 months, he combined all of that into a very musical bear. My husband and I are the festive squirrels, of course.
Damian used an acrylic block to stamp the images and the mini MISTI to stamp the sentiment. The bear, music notes, tambourine and triangle are from Critter Concert; the squirrels and their Santa hats are from Cheery Christmas; and the sentiment is from Say What? Christmas Critters.
To create a simple ‘glowy’ background, Damian did some simple masking and ink blending with life-changing blender brushes and distress inks. For easy, perfect mats, Damian used the A2 Rectangle STAX Set 1 from My Favorite Things.
