Today, I’m sharing some inspiration using products from Catherine Pooler’s Deluxe Club Sursee subscription for July 2019. I had previously shared a way to use the Friendship Border die in a more traditional sense and this is a fresh, modern take to give subtle texture to a clean and simple design.
I used three Catherine Pooler inks – Party Dress, Fiesta Blue and Midnight – to stamp both the sentiment from the Layered Greetings stamp set. After adhering six angled pieces of the Friendship Border die, I used the same ink colours to stamp a pattern of Xs inside the squares to create a faux-embroidered look.
