{Catherine Pooler Designs} Storybook Collection Release Video Hop + Giveaway!

Today, I’m joining Catherine Pooler and an immensely talented group of video artists for the Storybook Collection Release Video Hop!

My card features all of the large images from Fluttering Friends, including the two birds, two oak leaves and the holly cluster. I also stamped and die cut multiples of the berries so I could hang them all over the laurel.

I used Midnight ink to stamp all of the images and sentiment. I heat embossed them with sparkle embossing powder and watercolored everything with the Urban Oasis Ink Bundle (consisting of Rouge, Lemongrass, Sage and Queen for a Day). I also threw in three existing ink colours, Mint To Be, Aquatini and Fiesta Blue.

I used a piece of masking paper to split the halves of the background panel before sponging the top half with Rouge and Lemongrass, and the bottom half with Sage and Queen for a Day. I created a pool of Sage ink and water on an acrylic block, then flicked splatters off on to the top-right and bottom-left corners of the panel for visual interest.
