My first card features the Extra Special stamp set and coordinating die. I made this card for my husband to send to his mom. Her favourite colour is purple so I used the Rose Petal set of layering inks, with Green Fields.

For the bottom layer, I used the lighter two shades for the flowers and then stamped off for the greens. I just love the ease of stamp-layering with this set and there are so many possibilities with the versatility of the sentiments! It’s definitely a must-have.

My second card features the Best Dad stamp set and coordinating dies. I used the box as an anchor for the mug and tape measure and watercoloured all of the images with distress inks. The colours in the background tie into all of the images for a cohesive design. You’ll see more of this stamp set in a video post tomorrow! 🙂
