As part of their anniversary celebrations, Altenew has a special offer on shipping! Now’s the time to stock up on everything you ever wanted or knock a few items off your wish list! 😉

I made two cards for today’s hop and the first one features Hug Me and Big World. The moment I saw Hug Me, I knew I had to have it. There are so many adorable foxes and they’re perfect for mixing and matching with other Altenew stamp sets, like Big World!

I used two shades of greys, greens and blues and used the rock-and-roll technique to get more depth on the globe, the hearts and in the sentiment. I also love the dry embossed texture on the globe stand!

The sassy fox was coloured with Copic markers. To anchor the globe and the little fox, I used masking paper to split the sponging between the wall and the floor of the scene.

For my second project, I made two of the same card using Celebrations and Coffee Love. I used the largest of the Halftone Circles as a background or anchor for the buffet table, stamped with Mountain Mist to coordinate with Evergreen Bough distress ink. The Halftone Circles stamp set is so versatile that I could pretty much incorporate it into any card I make.

Celebrations and Coffee Love go so well together! I’ve used a sentiment from Celebrations here but it would be easy to swap in a sentiment from Coffee Love. All of the images were heat embossed and watercoloured with distress inks.

Altenew is giving away $50 gift certificates to FIVE lucky winners. There are also 12 awesome companies who are celebrating with us, and they are offering the following prizes:
