Happy World Cardmaking Day! Thank you for celebrating with Winnie & Walter today! You should’ve arrived from Keren Baker‘s blog. If you’re starting here, be sure to visit the Winnie & Walter blog for all the details, including the full hop list. Three random winners will be drawn from all comments left on the following blogs. Each winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the Winnie & Walter shop. The more you comment, the better your chances of winning!

I started this card by stamping the Multigrain background with ombre ink. Then I stamped and die cut the flowers, leaves and banner from The Big, the Bold and Extras, all with various ombre ink colours. The vintage metallic pigment ink is amazing! You can see the shading and shimmer in the close-up photo.

To finish my card, I dry embossed The Leaf Effect Cutaway on slate cardstock and adhered it to the card base. Then I die cut the Multigrain background with Katharine Cutaways and popped up the panel with foam tape. After adhering the flowers, leaves and banner, I embellished the card with some silver glitter diamonds die cut from Big Bang Confetti Cutaways.

Comments for the hop are open until 11:59 pm. CST on October 7, 2016. Thanks so much for hopping with us!

  5. I’m late to the hop, but it’s a perfect day for doing so, as it’s gloomy and lightly snowing here. Nothing like awesome creativity to brighten my spirits, and your beautiful flowers, set atop the wood grain background, have certainly done so! Gorgeous!
