I made a wedding/anniversary card with four products that will be available for purchase at Catherine Pooler Designs. First, I used GeoBuilders to stamp an asymmetrical chevron background along the edges of the panel. Then I created a sentiment “You make me happy!” from Wild Bloom and stamped it about 50 times to create my own black and white patterned text paper. I used the And Dies to die cut all three ampersands. I die cut the ampersands a second time from vellum and layered it over the black and white ampersands to mute it and give it an ethereal feel.

For the main sentiment, I heat embossed a custom sentiment using And Sentiments. I used a paper trimmer and scissors to create the fishtail banner, which is lined with silver glitter cardstock on the bottom. The two larger ampersands and the banner are popped up with foam tape and the smallest ampersand is adhered flat to the panel with glue dots.

Eligibility for prizes ends at noon on September 1, 2016 and the three winners will be announced on Catherine’s blog later that day. Be sure to check back then to see if you’re one of the lucky winners!

Thanks so much for hopping with us!

This card is so beautiful, also I love

the soft look of the colors used, and how you use the words as background in the & sign..

  6. Hi Emily ~ Love the way you created your own patterned paper and used it to die cut the ampersands. It adds such a nice touch and softens it up by using the vellum overlay. Your card is elegantly beautiful and I hope you don't mind if I CASE this card for an upcoming wedding. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

  7. Beautiful card! I love how you combined the pastel angular geometric design with the black and white rounded ampersand! This creates such a great contrast and makes your card just pop! Lovely!

  8. I think it's just incredible that all the stamps and dies go together in a collection. It's like a mix and match. Or more bang for your buck. That's what makes her product line so amazing. Your card shows the example of just that.

  9. Can't believe I forgot about this blog hop! Glad Catherine reminded us with an email – your card is lovely. I especially like the muted &s. Thanks for sharing!

  10. Although I rarely make wedding cards, the ampersand dies are gorgeous and should be able to be used for so any other types of cards. Thanks for the color inspiration too.
