It’s a very sad day when I announce that I’m stepping down from the Paper Smooches team. How does one say goodbye to Kim after four amazing years? Four years. Wow, that’s the longest I’ve served as a design team member on any manufacturer team. It’s a big accomplishment, something I’m very proud of. I’m lucky to have had the amazing opportunity to work alongside Kim, who is one of the kindest, most generous and supportive people in this industry. I’m proud to call her my friend. Kim, these cards are for you and to say thanks for being so awesome! I have endless gratitude for everything we’ve shared these past four years.

The first card uses the Weather Dies, birds from Luminous Spring and a sentiment from Uplifters. I created a watercolour background using distress inks, stamped the birds and sentiment using the MISTI tool, then adhered the rainbow and clouds, which was die cut from silver glitter cardstock.

My second card uses the Botanicals 1 stamps and coordinating Botanicals 1 Icons in four shades of purple ink. The sentiment is from Many Thanks. For the final touches, I added a strip of patterned paper from Avery Elle’s Neutral Collection paper pad, gold glitter cardstock at the edge of the front panel, plus some gold enamel dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
