Today’s post is a special one! Paper Smooches is playing along with the 5th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey McNeely! Several of the design team members are joining in the festivities, which means there are loads of fun tags to share. I participated with the team last year and created a video, which you can see HERE. I wasn’t able to manage one this year but I’m still happy to be playing along.

I used five Paper Smooches stamps and die sets to create my little shaker tag! I used the Quote Tag die to create the base and the Ovals 1 dies to create the opening. The snowman is from Cool Dudes and the sentiment is from Holiday Cheer.

I added one of the Toppers dies and used a slot punch through it so I could thread and tie the yellow twill ribbon. I added three types of sequins in the shaker – silver hearts, flat moonshine and flat silver.

I coloured the snowman with Copic markers and added Wink of Stella to the hat before adding polka dots with a white gel pen. I’m having so much fun shaking this tag that it’ll be hard to give away. 😉

I hope you’ll join in and play along with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags and be eligible for your chance to win! Please visit Tracey’s blog for all the details!

  1. You know, I think I could get behind the idea of shaker tags more than shaker cards! I can see where this one would be too much fun to give away on a gift. That snowman is so cute behind his flurry of sequins. I really like the gel pen polka dots on his hat, too!
