I’m playing along with MFT’s Wednesday Sketch Challenge #249. It’s a fairly simple sketch which is my kind of sketch. 😉 I love the MFT challenges but rarely find the time to play so it’s always exciting when I get to play along! I really wanted to use the cute little bears from London Mouse. Yes, I know they’re supposed to be mice, based on the name of the stamp set, but they look so much like bears!
I wanted the London guard bears to stand out so I created a splattered celebratory background with a white London Skyline between it and the bears. The repeating sentiment is from Bionic Bots and the entire scene is framed with Double Stitched Rectangle STAX. For the base layer, I used a sheet of notebook paper from Heidi Swapp’s Dreamy 6×6 paper pad, which I sponged with Frayed Burlap distress ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thank you Emily, they look like bears to me, too! At least here. Besides, I think the Queen needs the fierceness of bears, not mice. 😀 Your splattered background is so perfect for this London scene! This card is so adorable. Love it!
'ello! I LOve you … darling down to the last splat! LOve the subtle skyline in white. Just brilliant!
