This is my third year participating in Libby Hickson‘s annual Tour de Craft celebrating Le Tour de France! As many of you know, my husband is a bike designer, having designed bikes for many well-known manufacturers over the years, so bikes and bike-related things tend to excite us. 😉
For my card this year, I chose to feature a couple of Hero Arts stamps that I haven’t used in a while – Bike with Basket – or were left unlinked since I bought it – Absolutely Awesome. I kept the stamping very simple by using Hero Arts Blackboard ink. Then I layered the Spring Branch die with vellum and black cardstock, accenting the leaves with some white enamel dots. The diagonal stitched frame die is by My Favorite Things.

Be sure to visit Libby’s blog for the duration of Le Tour de France to see awesome bike-inspired cards by Libby herself and other special guests. I’ve been wowed by every project I’ve seen so far!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Now I need that 'awesome' stamp! Love the addition of the die cut branches!
This is beautiful, Emily!
Oh how I've missed you, Emily – literally smiled from ear-to-ear when I saw your post in my feed!!! What is not to love about this darling card? I love the neutral palette and I now feel badly about my own bicycle stamp – it, too, needs a little love again … the real one? still hanging in the garage holding up all those cobwebs!
Welcome back!

Oh this card is so gorgeous!! You made look at bicycle stamp in a whole new way!!! 🙂
I absolutely LOVE your gorgeous card, Emily! Thank you so much for letting me share it on my blog. It wouldn't be the same without you joining me in July! 🙂
I LOVE your card!!!
Great card! Loving those bits of branch!
Such a classy design! Love the colours (or lack of? LOL) and the crisp CAS look. Possibly not a bike your husband would design. 😉
Such a beautiful and elegant card! Love the neutral colors!
