Hello, and welcome to the Spring 2015 Essentials by Ellen Release Hop! Iā€™m incredibly excited and honoured to be part of today’s hop. I’ve created two cards showcasing several of the new stamp sets and dies available for purchase today!

My first card features the Mondo Magnolia and coordinating Mondo Magnolia Dies. I die cut the flower petals, then stamped the images using grey archival ink.

All of the die cut pieces were coloured using Gansai watercolour paints, gilding the edges with the gold colour.

I cut the centre out using the smallest of the three dies, revealing the bottom layer. The stem and leaves are from the Wild Garden Dies.

My second card features the Be-YOU-tiful Die, which I turned into a shaker by die cutting glittery gold stars using Home & Hearth Dies from the inaugural Essentials by Ellen release.

I used additional phrases from Amazing Women to create a custom sentiment. Then I framed the card with vellum flowers die cut from the Wild Garden Dies.

And, yay!!! I also get to give away the Mondo Magnolia stamp set to a lucky someone! Please leave a comment for your chance to win this gorgeous set!

The fun begins in the CLASSroom and there is also a Grand Giveaway! To enter, be sure to leave a comment there, and at every stop along the hop by May 5th! Winners will be announced May 8th.
