  2. Tell us that you Tweeted about our hop
  3. Tell us that you posted on your blog about our blog hop
(which means that you have up to three extra chances to win on each blog)

I’m featuring the Kudos Two stamp set, which is a standard 4×6 version of the original 3×4 Kudos stamp set. The smaller set is being retired and the words in the new release set are slightly bigger, similar to the Kudos Words dies. The new version includes more flowers, leaves and even a stem that can be used as a banner for the birds to sit on.

I cut two panels using the Quotables dies and embellished the edges with the straight Stitched die. Then I stamped a cascade of flowers with Versamark ink and heat embossed them with Mustard embossing powder. I created a visual triangle with three vellum flowers from the Pocket dies and adhered them to the card with enamel dot centres.

I layered with subtle light grey and mint patterned papers, popping the floral panels with foam tape. The bottom edge of the lower panel is held flat against the patterned paper with Scor-Tape to better showcase the peek-a-boo effect. The hashtag sentiment at the centre of the design is a combination of Cardbooking and Kudos Words dies.

Links for new release items will be added as soon as the products go live in stores.

Thanks so much for hopping with us today! Remember to check the Paper Smooches Blog on Monday to see if you are one of the lucky winners!!

  1. What!!!!???!!! This card brings me back to the 70's with the awesome mustard and turquoise colors!!! It has a real retro feel and I love it!!!!!!

  2. #wonderful to your card as well, Emily. Just thinking of a sympathy card I need to make for tomorrow and how great it would be to have some of these PS flower stamps. Both happiness and sorrow are part of life and a heartfelt card like yours is a great inspiration to accompany each. Cheers!

  3. Finally figured out how to post to your blog! I love what you've done with the speech bubbles. Who would have thought? So creative. Color combinations are clever and original. I really liked this card.

  4. You provide a good "how to" description. I especially like the variety of stamps and dies you use as it gives me ideas on what I need to buy. 😀

  5. DELIGHTFUL card Emily!!!
LOVE your wonderful sentiment and your layered golden embossed flowers with the vellum flowers – a great design – LOVE IT ALL!!!
