Welcome to {Day 5} of the Lil’ Inker Designs July Release! If you arrived from Teresa Kline‘s blog, you’re on the right track. If you’d like to start at the beginning, please go to Laura Pryor‘s blog for all the details. Today, the entire design team is featuring projects that include one or both of the July releases!

My first card uses the Sunshine Dies & Stamp Set. I created a very simple card to show off the sun with the clouds from the Rainbows & Clouds Dies. I included three lines of whimsical stitching for a breeze. The vellum die cut is the oversized banner from the Flags & Tags Dies.

This second card features the Flip Flop Dies, this time with the bow embellishment. I used a sentiment from the Flags & Tags Stamp Set and everything sits inside the Texture Plate Collection – Frame 1.

Here’s the blog hop order for today so you don’t miss an ounce of inspiration! Leaving a comment on every hop stop this week will give you more chances to win one of $10 gift certificates to the Lil’ Inker Store.

  1. Oh, I love the layered sun! Awesome πŸ™‚ And I think I want flip-flops with bows & gems on them. Actually, how do I not already have a pair? hmmm.

  2. Love that first card, your stitching is spot on.
I think velum is making a bit of a come-back–in any case, very cool accent on that card (fits right in with the clouds). The woodgraining on the second card looks great with a little colour distressing.

  3. OK…now I need Flag and Tags too…
how did I miss that large banner die?
    But these are both fabulous!!
    Love that cheerful sunshine…
and the flippies on the IP…
my most favorite IP I do believe EVER!! πŸ™‚

  4. Love your double layered sun and the wonderful vellum tag! Must go check out Flags & Tags! So glad to see the flip flops with the frame IP. Love them with the bows & bling!

  6. Seriously? I don't even know what to say – 2 amazing designs here, Em!!!! You've showcased these sets brilliantly. Love how you used the texture plate with the flops and put them center stage! Love how they're embellished!! GREATNESS!!!

  7. Oh boy… more dies for the wish list!! Love that sun and your stitched lines are the perfect finishing touch on your card. The flip flops are adorable and look great inside that frame!
