Kim shared this card on the Paper Smooches Blog on Tuesday. It features one of the newest releases, the Fanciful Fall stamp set and its coordinating Fanciful Fall Icons dies. The squirrel in the tree and the outline mushroom are from the Spring Groves stamp set and I also used the Borders 1 dies as grass to create a cute little love scene! I’m a sucker for squirrels and my son chases squirrels all the time hoping to hug one someday. That will probably never happen but he can always try. LOL I’ve been making a lot of cards using Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink and I’m totally addicted to it. Click on the photos to see the shimmer up close. You’ll be seeing a lot of cards featuring this ink over the next little while. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I would’ve posted this on Tuesday but it’s been a couple of stressful days. Tuesday was supposed to have been my son’s first day of senior kindergarten. We were out shopping before lunch and, as usual, he was “dance-running” down the street, tripped and fell. I won’t describe the horror of watching his head hit the ground and the amount of red that followed. An ambulance took us to SickKids and he needed four stitches between the eyes. He’ll be just fine but that wasn’t anything a mother ever wants to see. He started school the next day in good spirits but a little weary and more cautious than usual. ๐Ÿ™‚

Connor still wants to catch a squirrel. And a seagull. I will probably puke if he ever manages to touch a seagull, lol.
