This is the card I sent to the über-awesome Susan Opel for her birthday! It was actually part of an ensemble that I had submitted to the Birthday Creations: Volume 3 publication call. It was rejected but I knew that Susan really loved the sweater so it ended up being the perfect card for her. 😉
The coordinating purse was cut using this file from Silhouette America and adorned with the same white felt flower. The car containing candy, chocolate and car keys was cut using this file, also from Silhouette America. I’ve made plenty of these cars for my son to play with since then! The sentiments on all three items are from the following Paper Smooches stamp sets – Metropolis, Santa Paws and Promenade.
Here’s what the three pieces look like together. This was the first time I had created a project on this scale and even though it wasn’t chosen for publication, it’ll always have a special place in my crafty heart!

This ensemble is so cute! I love the little pouch on the sweater….Carina loves shirts that have the pouch, and she walks around the house with her hands in there. I'm guessing Susan was tickled to receive the card, and I'm loving the other pieces too and the papers you used. Great work!

Emily, these projects are ALL totally fantastic!!! LOVE the sweater card with all of the yummy texture and those beautiful flowers!!!! And the patterned paper you used for the purse—so perfectly coordinated with the sweater!! AWESOME!! And that car treat box—-super fun!

Wow, wow, wow! The sweater is so cool, but my favourite part has to be the little tag peeking out of the front pouch! The purse and car are fantastic, too.
